      Description

This is a two day IICRC approved course focusing on providing comprehensive occupational or workplace health & safety training for any industry sectors employing mobile service technicians. Unlike the majority of excellent health and safety courses around that tend to focus on the construction or manufacturing sectors, this course focuses on service industries using hazardous chemicals and that are predominantly mobile. It deals with international health & safety law and the Global Harmonised System (vital for product labels and Safety Data Sheets) which are not covered by most programs, as well as all the usual hazard issues around pathogens, slippery floors, working at heights, energy, etc. This course is specific to the Australian and New Zealand markets.

      Who should take this course?

      1. Any existing IICRC registrants who are wanting to gain their IICRC Master designation in Cleaning or Restoration. You will be required to sit and pass an IICRC Exam to become certified either online or with the Instructor at the end of the course.
      2. Any individual who would like to become a Health & Safety Representative in their company to meet the requirements of either Australian or New Zealand Health & Safety legislation. The exam is optional.

If you work in the Cleaning, Restoration, Hazardous Substance Decontamination, Pest Control or other specialist sectors this is the best course for you, whether you are in management, logistics or out on the road!

      What’s involved?

A comprehensive manual and workbook is provided as a resource and reference for your workplace.

The trainer is an expert both in workplace health and safety law and sectors that are handling chemicals or workers being exposed to everything from pesticides, mould and methamphetamine to blood and body fluids.
